Bangladesh Social Enterprise Project (BSEP) Workshop

The Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) in association with The Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC) based in Australia and Libra Advisory Group based in UK is going to organise a two days Project workshop on Bangladesh Social Enterprise Project (BSEP), supported by the British Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) to be held on Monday, January 11 and Tuesday, January 12 from 9:30AM to 4:30PM at the BEI conference room (House 20, Road 05, Gulshan 01, Dhaka). A Policy Seminar on Promoting Social Enterprise Development in Bangladesh: BSEP Outcomes will also be held on Tuesday, January 12 at the Grand Ball Room, Dhaka Sheraton Hotel from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. followed by dinner. Kick-Off Workshop on the Bangladesh Social Enterprise Project (BSEP)

The kick off workshop was held on April the 6th and 7th of April, 2009. The objective of this workshop was to identify the strengths and opportunities of companies in doing business with the poor and to address the challenges and threats. In addition, provided an opportunity to identify profitable cooperation with NGOs and the government, and to bring to the forefront key gaps in the government’s priority for development.

The Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) in association with the Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC) based in Australia and Libra Advisory Group based in the UK has initiated the Bangladesh Social Enterprise Project (BSEP), supported by the British Government’s department for International Development (DFID). This project aims to utilize the key strengths of the private sector to address some of the poverty related issues of our country.
